Dear Parents,
It is our desire to equip and to encourage you in your home school journey. The Family Class provides an opportunity for fellowship with other homeschoolers and an opportunity to share both the successes and the challenges of homeschooling. We hope to provide training in how to homeschool preschool through high school, encouragement in the challenges of homeschooling, and how to manage your home while you homeschool. Topics will vary. If there is a specific topic you would like discussed, please let us know. This will be an informal time during lunch. You do not have to attend every class. Please bring lunch for your family. There will not be childcare during this time. Out of respect for Mountain Vista Baptist Church, who has graciously allowed us to use their facilities for free, we ask that all children remain in the fellowship hall during lunch. This will be a time to help train your children to sit still and listen to others. They can eat, color, or do a quiet activity (that you bring) at your lunch table.
