Can you believe it? Summer's all most over for Washoe County Schools which start early again this year on August 11th! Historically, our local homeschoolers commemorate the day by doing a potluck and park day at a local park! It is such a fun way to celebrate being a homeschooler. Additionally, there will be a Curriculum Sale with 6' rental spaces for $5.00 each.

So this year we'll meet at Mira Loma Park's Picnic Pavilion where there's something for everyone from playgrounds, ball fields, tennis and basketball courts, and a skateboard park. The park is located at the corner of Mira Loma Drive and McCarran Blvd. in southeast Reno. Please bring a food item to share. NNHS will provide picnic supplies and water.
